OUR STORY
Northern Michigan’s Traverse City is claimed to be the cherry capital of the world. The small community of Yuba, Michigan sits right outside Traverse City. Yuba is home to Yuba Orchard Co. also knows as YOCO. As a family-owned and operated cherry and apple farm, YOCO contributes to the success of Northern Michigan’s cherry industry. YOCO apples have food safety audits and are certified by USDA GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and Primus.
Cherry and apple farming is multi-generational in the YOCO family and their fruit is distributed to local processing plants. The fruit is sold in markets such as Traverse City’s Sara Hardy Farmers Market and Chicago's Ward 47 Fresh Market and Artisan Fare.
